THE CONWELL HIP BRACE is indicated for post-operative immobilization of the hip joint.
❶ The length and width are adjustable to meet diverse requirment.
a.Open the top and botton covers to adjust the length (Fig. A). Then loosen the screw the bracket is able to move up and down (Fig. B), be certain the length then tighten the screw (for safety, it should have more than two screws when fasten the screws and even well-distributed configuration the screws), the length is extendable from 18" (46 cm) to 21.75" (55 cm).
b.When adjusting the waist and thigh range first be certain the length of straps. There is a closure in end of each strap, just remove the closure and trim the excess strap length
(Fig.C), then reposition the closure to end of strap.
c.Trim excess length of plastic board of the back
(Fig. D) and thight
(Fig. E) support when necessary. Either trim the shear line. The tolerance of waist circumference from 28" (71 cm) to 50" (127 cm) ; thigh circumference from 14" (35.5 cm) to 25" (63.5 cm). Optional, extended length version of straps is available. The maximum waist circumference of strap is 60" (152.4 cm) and the maximum thigh circumference is 35" (90 cm).

Hinge Setting Extension / Flexion and Abduction / Adduction. (Hinge setting must operated by medical professional.)
a.Press the red buttom on the hinge to lock / unlock degree setting
(Fig. F). Both laterail and medialis of the scale is able to move to desire degree when unlock
(Fig.G). then push the red button to the orignal lock position to capture the setting (per scale is 20°, the limit can be set from 0° - 120°)
b.Abduction / Adduction setting, loosen the screw between scale rotator and down hinge
(Fig. H).and rotating to the desired setting ( there is scale marker / per scale is 20°), assamble the hing and scale rotator
(Fig. I) together then tighting the screw.
❸After setting, position the hip barce against the side of the hip then buckle up
(Fig. J) and adjust the tightness to achieve a proper fit.

1.If any additional pain or symptoms occur while using this device, seek medical attention.
2.This device operation should be consulted by physician or other qualified medical professional.
3.While wearing the brace, be certain the red button is secured and locked in case of collision or false trigger to dislocate desired degree.
4.Make sure the hook and loop fasteners are well fastened while wearing the product. If the hook and loop fasteners cannot be fastened well. stop using the product to prevent injuries.
Washing Instructions:
1.Remove foam liner from hinges for hand wash. using a mild detergent and cold water, air dry. Do not wash in washing machine or place in mechanical dryer. Do not bleach nor iron.
2.Dip cotton pads in cold water to rub and clean, air dry. Do not use detergent or bleach.
