THE CONWELL LENGTH ADJUSTABLE ROM KNEE BRACE is indicated for post-operative immobilization of the knee joint.


❶Adjust the hinge bars length to fit patient's need. The normal length is from 22.5 to 27 inches (Fig.A).

❷The top and bottom pans of the hinge bars can be taken down (Fig.B) when necessary and the shortest length can be up to 17 inches (Fig.C).

❸After removing the top and bottom parts of the hinge bars, the straps have to be through back to the next support shieId (Fig.D).

❹Push the button to enable hinge bar length adjustment (Fig.E).

❺Unfasten all the straps. Locate the hinges on two sides of the knee and make sure the ROM mechanisms aiign with the center of the knee joint (Fig.F).

❻ Secure the four straps to comfortable tightness. in sequence of (1) - (4) as instructed in.(Secure the two straps that are closer to the knee first. The sequential numbers are printed on the straps) (Fig.G).

❼If the strap is too long. you can trim the straps to secure fit. Remove the hook piece at the end of the strap trim the strap and reapply the hook piece  (Fig.H).


HOW TO SET THE ROM MECHANISM:

❽Make sure the Q-Lock (Quick-Lock) above the ROM mechanism is unlocked before setting range of motion (ROM)(Fig.I).

❾Rotate the grey knob of the ROM mechanism and make the arrow on it pointing to unlock symbol (Fig.J).

❿Turn the yellow and white buttons to the desired extension and flexion settings (Fig.K) Rotate the grey knob button and make the arrow pointing to lock symbol (Fig.L).

⓫Switch down the Q-Lock to be quickly locked into the lock position at 0°, 15°,30°,and 45° of flexion (Fig.M). Make the black arrow on the ROM mechanism pointing to the white degree symbols and then switch down the Q-Lock to be locked bilaterally(Fig.N).

⓬lf the stabilization of the brace is not sufficient. the spare straps can be through into the holes of upper middle and lower middle shields of the brace to increase the stabilization.

 


Caution:

1.If discomfort or pain results, persists or increases, discontinue use and consult a physician.

2.Usage as directed by physician, also operated by professional accroding to physician indication. Do not operate without
consulting physician.

3.While wearing the brace. make sure the ROM mechanism buttons are secured and locked to avoid loss of desired range of setting due to unintended touching or crashing.

4.Make sure the hook and loop fasteners are well fastened while wearing the product. If the hook and loop fasteners cannot be
fastened well. stop using the product to prevent injuries.

Washing Instructions:

Remove foam liner from hinges for hand wash. using a mild detergent and cold water. air dry. Do not wash in washing machine or place in mechanical dryer. Do not bleach nor iron.
